Kass Law Firm was founded in Portsmouth, Virginia in 1982. Attorneys William Kass and Aaron Kass, legal administrator Beverly Turner and the entire team at Kass Law Firm have strong roots in the Hampton Roads area and consider it a privilege to help those in need.

William E. Kass
Attorney
Attorney William E. Kass practices in a wide range of fields including personal injury, automobile accidents, wrongful death, products liability, premises liability, medical malpractice and legal malpractice. In 1978 he graduated from the T.C. Williams School of Law at the University of Richmond, where he received the American Jurisprudence Award in Administrative Law. In 1972 he graduated from Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia. He is admitted to the bars of the Commonwealth of Virginia, the Eastern District of Virginia, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit and the U.S. Supreme Court. He is also rated “AV” by Martindale-Hubbell Lawyer Referral Service – the highest rating awarded by the organization. Mr. Kass is a member of the Virginia Trial Lawyers Association, The American Association for Justice, the Norfolk & Portsmouth Bar Association and Portsmouth Bar Association. He was listed in “Coastal Virginia Magazine” in the “CoVaBiz Top Personal Injury Lawyers List” in 2020. He was selected as one of the “Top 100 Trial Lawyers in Virginia” by The National Trial Lawyers Association and has also been included in “Virginia Super Lawyers Magazine” for personal injury law. He was born in Elizabeth City, North Carolina, grew up throughout the Hampton Roads area and has practiced law in Portsmouth since he graduated from law school. He prides himself on his vigorous representation of all of the firm’s clients and enjoys representing families from generation to generation.
Aaron F. Kass
Attorney
Attorney Aaron F. Kass practices in a wide range of fields, including personal injury, traffic offenses, criminal defense, and estate planning. In 2005, he graduated from the Marshall-Wythe School of Law at the College of William and Mary. While at William and Mary, he was inducted into the “Order of the Coif,” an honor society for those finishing in the top ten percent of their graduating class. Also, while at William and Mary, he was the Student Notes Editor for, and published in, the Environmental Law and Policy Review. In 2002 he graduated Cum Laude from Georgetown University where he received a Bachelor of Arts Degree majoring in History and minoring in Theology. He is a member of the Virginia Trial Lawyers Association, The American Association for Justice, The American Bar Association, Portsmouth Bar Association, Virginia Beach Bar Association, Norfolk & Portsmouth Bar Association and I’Anson-Hoffman American Inn of Court. He is listed in “Virginia Super Lawyers Magazine” for his personal injury practice (“Rising Stars” 2009-2020; “Super Lawyers” 2021-2024), listed in “Coastal Virginia Magazine” in the “CoVaBiz Top Personal Injury Lawyers List” (2019-2021) and has been selected as one of the “Top 40 Under 40” in Virginia by The National Trial Lawyers Association. He is also rated “AV” by Martindale-Hubbell Lawyer Referral Service – the highest rating awarded by the organization. He was born and raised in Norfolk and has practiced law in Portsmouth and throughout Hampton Roads his entire career. Beverly L. Turner
Legal Administrator
Legal Administrator Beverly L. Turner, has over four decades of experience in Virginia’s legal system. She is a member of the Virginia Trial Lawyers Association and the American Association for Justice. She was born in Windsor, North Carolina but considers herself a Portsmouth native, having spent the vast majority of her life in the city. She is an instrumental part of making sure that all of Kass Law Firm’s clients receive the advocacy, attention, and first-class service which they rightfully deserve.
Jayme Kent
Legal Assistant
Legal Assistant Jayme Kent has over two decades of experience assisting the clients of Kass Law Firm achieve justice in their injury cases. She was born in Princeton, West Virginia and graduated from Green Run High School in Virginia Beach. She enjoys working with Kass Law Firm’s clients and helping to make sure that their matters are resolved in a timely fashion.
